The short answer
AZ Easy CPA provides NetSuite accounting support in Arizona from a CPA who works in the system himself. Chris Badulescu helps with month-end close, account reconciliations, saved searches and reports, cleanup of past entries, user training and process improvements, working alongside your in-house accounting team.
What NetSuite accounting support do you offer?
We help companies use NetSuite for what it does best: accurate books and timely reporting. That includes month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, saved searches and custom reports, cleanup of misposted transactions, training for users and practical process improvements. Chris does this work himself, so you work directly with the CPA.
Companies usually move to NetSuite because they outgrew simpler software. The system is powerful, but it relies on good setup and consistent habits. When those slip, close takes longer, reports stop matching and the team starts exporting everything to spreadsheets.
- Month-end and year-end close in NetSuite
- Bank, credit card and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Saved searches, custom reports and dashboards
- Cleanup of misposted entries, old open items and unapplied payments
- Training for accounting staff and other NetSuite users
- Process improvement for approvals, close checklists and recurring entries
- Support alongside your controller or in-house team
How can a NetSuite accountant help with month-end close?
A NetSuite accountant helps you build and work a repeatable close: reconciling cash and key accounts, posting accruals and recurring journal entries, reviewing subledgers against the general ledger, closing periods in the right order and producing financial statements. The goal is a faster close with fewer surprises.
Chris can run the close with you or for you, depending on what your team needs. Either way, we document the steps so the process stays consistent from month to month.
- Review open items. Unbilled sales, unapproved bills, open purchase orders and unapplied payments.
- Reconcile. Bank and credit card accounts, then key balance sheet accounts such as receivables, payables, prepaids and accrued liabilities.
- Post adjustments. Accruals, deferrals, depreciation and reclasses.
- Tie out subledgers. Make sure AR aging, AP aging and inventory agree with the general ledger.
- Close the period. Lock the period using NetSuite's period close checklist so late entries do not change reported results.
- Report. Financial statements and a short variance review for leadership.
Can you build NetSuite saved searches and reports?
Yes. Saved searches are one of NetSuite's most useful tools, and also one of the most underused. We build saved searches, financial reports and dashboard views that answer real questions, like which customers are past due, what is sitting unapproved or how margins look by department or location.
Good reporting starts with clean data and a clear question. We talk with you about what you need to see, then build searches and reports your team can run on their own.
- AR and AP aging with useful filters and summaries
- Transactions missing a department, class or location
- Open purchase orders, unbilled items and unapproved transactions
- Revenue and margin by customer, item, department or location
- Exception searches that flag errors before close
- Scheduled searches emailed to managers on a regular basis
A short list of reliable saved searches often does more for a team than dozens of reports nobody trusts. We start with what you look at every week.
What does NetSuite cleanup involve?
NetSuite cleanup means finding and fixing the issues that build up over time: unreconciled accounts, duplicate or misposted entries, stale open transactions, inconsistent segment coding and items or accounts set up incorrectly. We fix what can be fixed, document what we changed and help set up habits that prevent repeats.
| Common issue | What it causes | How we help |
|---|---|---|
| Unreconciled balance sheet accounts | Balances nobody can explain | Reconcile, research differences and post corrections |
| Unapplied payments and credits | Overstated AR or AP | Match and apply, or clear with proper entries |
| Missing department, class or location | Unreliable segment reports | Reclass entries and add required fields or searches |
| Old open orders and bills | Cluttered aging and misleading reports | Review with your team and close or void as appropriate |
| Items or accounts mapped incorrectly | Revenue or costs in the wrong place | Fix mappings and correct prior entries as needed |
Cleanup is quoted after we look at your system, so you know the scope before work begins. If you also have entities on QuickBooks, our bookkeeping cleanup service covers those books.
Do you train NetSuite users?
Yes. We offer practical NetSuite training for accounting staff and other users who enter transactions, approve bills or run reports. Training focuses on the tasks your people do every day, in your own account, so the habits stick and fewer errors reach the books.
Many NetSuite issues start upstream, with someone who was never shown the right way to enter a transaction. A little training for the people creating sales orders, entering bills or submitting expenses can save hours at month-end.
- One-on-one or small group sessions, remote or in person
- Role-based training for AP, AR, purchasing and managers
- How to run and edit saved searches
- Close procedures and checklists for accounting staff
- Short written guides your team can keep for reference
Can you work alongside our in-house accounting team?
Yes. Many of our NetSuite clients already have a controller, staff accountant or office manager. We step in where you need extra help, such as covering a busy close, catching up reconciliations, building reports or reviewing processes, without taking over work your team already handles well.
We agree upfront on who does what, so there is no overlap or confusion. Some clients use us for a specific project, while others want ongoing monthly support.
| Support style | What it looks like |
|---|---|
| Project support | A defined cleanup, reporting build or process review with a clear finish line |
| Monthly close support | Help with reconciliations, adjustments and review each month |
| Advisory and review | Regular check-ins to review results, answer questions and spot issues early |
If you want help turning NetSuite reports into planning and forecasts, our fractional CFO service can work alongside this support.
Why work with AZ Easy CPA for NetSuite support?
You work directly with Chris Badulescu, a CPA who handles NetSuite work himself. He understands both the accounting and the system, so fixes are correct on the books and practical in the software. We are a small Chandler team that supports companies across Arizona and beyond, remotely or in person.
Because Chris is also a QuickBooks ProAdvisor (Elite tier), he is comfortable with companies that run NetSuite for one part of the business and QuickBooks for another, or that are weighing whether to move. Hillary keeps scheduling and follow-ups moving, so requests do not sit.
Most NetSuite work happens remotely through your own account access, with secure file sharing for anything that needs to be exchanged. We are happy to meet in person in Chandler when that helps.

NetSuite Support questions
Do you implement NetSuite from scratch?
Our focus is accounting support for companies already on NetSuite: close, reconciliations, reporting, cleanup and training. If you are planning an implementation, we can talk through the accounting side and how we might help once you are live.
Who actually does the NetSuite work?
Chris does. He is a CPA who works in NetSuite himself, so you are not handed off to someone you have never met.
Can you help us close the month faster?
We help by building a repeatable close checklist, reconciling key accounts, setting up useful saved searches and fixing the issues that slow the close down. How much faster depends on your starting point and your team.
Do you work with companies outside Arizona?
Yes. Most NetSuite work happens remotely, so we support companies across Arizona and in other states. Our home base is Chandler.
Can you train our non-accounting staff?
Yes. We often train people who create sales orders, enter bills, approve purchases or submit expenses, since getting those entries right makes the accounting side much smoother.
Do you also support QuickBooks?
Yes. Chris is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor (Elite tier), and we support QuickBooks Online setup, cleanup, training and monthly bookkeeping.
How is NetSuite support priced?
It depends on the scope: a defined cleanup project, monthly close help or ongoing advisory. We quote it after a free call and a look at your system.
