How do I get started with AZ Easy CPA?
Schedule a free phone consultation online or call (480) 747-3935. Chris will ask about your business and your books, take a look if needed, and give you a clear plan and price before any work begins.
What should I have ready for the first call?
Just a general sense of where things stand: what software you use, how far behind you are and which bank and credit card accounts the business uses. If you use QuickBooks Online, having your login handy helps.
Do you work with brand new businesses?
Yes. We can form your LLC, help you decide about an S-Corp election, set up QuickBooks the right way and get bookkeeping going from day one.
Do you only work with Chandler businesses?
Our office is in Chandler and many clients are in the East Valley, but we work with businesses across Arizona and in other states remotely.
Pricing
How much does monthly bookkeeping cost?
Monthly plans typically start around $300 a month. The exact price depends on transaction volume, the number of bank, credit card and loan accounts, and complexity like inventory or job costing.
How do you price cleanup and catch-up work?
We look at your books or records first, then quote the project. That way the price matches the actual work instead of a guess.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. The first phone call is free and there is no pressure or commitment.
Working together
Will I work with Chris directly?
Yes. Chris leads and reviews the work and meets with clients about their results. His assistant Hillary handles scheduling and returns calls, and a few trusted contractors help on larger projects under Chris's review.
How do I send you documents?
Through our secure upload portal, never regular email. Most bank and credit card activity comes in automatically through QuickBooks bank feeds.
What software do you use?
Mostly QuickBooks Online. Chris also works in NetSuite and connects common apps like Square, Toast, Gusto, ServiceTitan, Jobber and practice management software exports.
What reports will I get?
At minimum a profit and loss statement and a balance sheet each month, plus metrics that matter to your business. Monthly clients also get strategy sessions to talk through what the numbers mean.
Taxes and payroll
Do you prepare tax returns?
No. We keep your books accurate and ready for tax time and work with trusted tax preparation partners, or with your current tax preparer.
Do you run payroll?
No. Payroll is handled by our payroll partners or your existing provider. We make sure payroll is recorded correctly in your books.
Can you get my books ready for my tax preparer?
Yes, that is a big part of what we do. Year-end reviews, reconciled accounts and a clean package make your tax preparer's job faster and your return more accurate.
